Unconfirmed report that Br 91 @ On Coventry at fradley Bridge strike

Just seen a report on Facebook that bridge 91 at Fradley (Coventry canal) has collapsed into the canal....no idea if it’s true...or indeed the whole bridge.

From the local Fradley group on fb it sounds a bit more than that....apparently it’s been used by lots of artics and isn’t rated for such.

Google maps shows it as road closed.

Last time we walked over it there were traffic lights so not sure how a vehicle could hit the parapet.

The Fradley group says artics from the Tesco warehouse regularly use it...I guess it’s a bit tight for a HGV with a trailer on if you aren’t the best driver!

Bridge 91 was all fine when I drove over it this morning. 

I didn't stop but nor did I notice anything untoward.

I moored here for many years so I know it well.
