Staffordshire & Worcestershire - flooding question

Well, that's the question really: does it get affected by flooding from the River Stour?

As far as I recall, it does not directly connect with the canal, although goes both over and under it a couple of times.  It also runs close to it at points.  So any flooding risk would have to be from overtopping of the river into the canal, and I don’t think this has ever happened.

Over??

There used to be a connection from the canal to the river at Pratts Wharf, between Stourport and Kidderminster, to allow boats to reach a mill on the river. The towpath bridge is still there together with the remains of a lock.
