Lost loudspeakers?

Featured Posts

Arthur was sitting on my keyboard this morning, it's attention seeking, cats are very prone to it.

Now there is no sound, other than clicking of keyboard.

Speakers are set at 100%, I've run troubleshooter.

I think it is outputting to "headphones"

Right, lets sort this!

By keyboard, I assume this is a Yamaha, Casio or Korg?

Let us know the make and we can advise.

I'd have to agree with what you've surmised.

I hope you've got a switch somewhere that selects some sort of aux. alternative which your cat has moved.

It might be an input that allows other gadgets to play through the organ's speakers, thus detaching your keyboard.

Alternatively it might be an output selection which plays your keyboard through (as you said) headphones or a different external amplifier/speakers.

As Dr Bob says tell us the make and model and we can examine the website for you.

I get the impression LG means her komputa keyboard, and all sound has vanished from the machine.

Yes. Down at the bottom of the screen - hit the loudspeaker icon and select speakers.

If that doesn't work then reboot the computer. My laptop occasionally needs this to get the sound back.

My cats never lost the sound but often turns the display upside down. He's taught me a lot about computers.

Ditto the display shape-shifting catty-puss.

In the end I found a program to re-install Windows, peace and harmony restored.

I'd get a cat flap. Far easier than opening windows especially if you have to get them re-installed from time to time. Window installers seem to charge a lot round our way.

But can we rely on a dog to give advice about cats?
