Narrowboat Nimrod
In the second (rather blurry picture) it looks like your shunt is just floating around on the end of the cables? Has it come adrift?
bigcol
Hi it’s a 24v system and monitor. the monitor does not display anything, it’s dead col
steve hayes
I would guess that the red wire to the monitor is not made. in your second photo the red wire goes through the hole in your box, it looks like it’s going into crimped wire joint, is this good? It might have been compromised when changing the batteries
ditchcrawler
Have you checked the fuse is OK in that cable in the bundle that goes to the positive of the battery?
NB Esk
Have you possibly got both red wires going to your leisure bank, when one should monitor the start batt? Could be my eyes of course.....
Chewbacka
Have you got a multimeter? if so measure the supply voltage on the back of the meter. If it reads zero, then measure the voltage between the red wire at the monitor and the negative pole on the battery. If zero the red supply wire is duff. If ok measure the voltage between the black wire at the monitor and the battery positive post, if nothing then the black wire feeding the monitor is duff.
