This video was filmed by my other half, Kez and you will be able to hear her, myself and her Dad in the video. Also a member of the marina staff can be heard to comment that the pontoon they hit had only recently been repaired!

Or possibly during developing.

Or it could be a well thumbed photo that is over 80 years old. The original is nothing like the clear black and white shown, it is a definite shade of sepia that I enhanced on a digitised photo programme.

Surely on a narrowboat you just shout reverse, followed by I said ####### reversed you ####

 

I have heard very similar on a Motor with a  Bolinder winding with a butty along side and a basin full of boats ahead.
