doratheexplorer
Thanks again for the advice. I found the taps, and then I found elsan, toilets and bins. All very useful. The signage is CRT's typically confusing nonsense though.
sharpness
Where's the Elsan & bins in Kidderminster?

If you moor on the offside mooring just to the left of the crt permanent moorings at Roundhill Wharf, you'll find a couple of water taps. Go up the stairs to the left and you'll find a sani block with elsan and toilets. To the left of the sani block is gate with a bw key padlock. Go through and walk round the outside to another gate also with a bw key. In there is a compound with bins and recycle bins. It will be more obvious when you're there. The mooring says CRT workboat mooring which I'd recommend you ignore if you're just there while you use the facilities.
Richard Fairhurst
We left Iago outside Sainsbury's in Kidderminster for a week once when weekending back to Worcester, and didn't have any trouble. I'd usually prefer Stourport, but there's no railway station there which makes it a bit of a faff.

We don't normally stop in Kidderminster, a days run is usually from Stourport to Kinver both of which have sani stations. We've seen the CRT workboat mooring but never realised there was a sani station there, useful to know if Kinver or Stourport are out of action. Thanks. Dharl
Have to say that of the two pictures posted of the Kidderminster Locks, it is looking a nice place to boat through!

Appearances can be deceptive, however the stretch of canal north of Kiddy up to Stewponey is up there with the best in the country.
