Anyone got one of these? Looks exactly like a sterling but was cheaper but looks like it does everything my sterling one does.

Have you bought it? How many Watts as an inverter, and how many Amps as a charger, and how much is/was it?

Yes it’s this one half the price of my sterling one on my boat but seems to do everything that one does. I’m fitting it in a camper van

No my sterling one is ace but this is going in a camper

I have the Sterling 2500w 70A version which I bought in 2012. They sell a different, (more modern), version these days, so it's possible that Power Star have bought the licence, or just buy from the same place as Sterling did. The description and specs read the same, so maybe it is....

That does look cheap for the spec. Almost makes me wish I needed one!

 

I have a 1800w semi sine wave job but it does everything I need so I couldn't really justify buying a pure sine wave unit. Plus I prefer separate charger and inverter.

Very cheap for the spec, but Photonic Universe have quite a good reputation as a whole. 

I wonder if they are offloading old de-badged Sterling stock.
