My bell teacher is a big wheel scientist working at AWRE. He specialises in what he archly terms "excitable materials".

Lithium batteries located in the living space on a narrowboat is most common. It’s been mentioned on here numerous times.

We had a Yorkie that used to like to collect treats like biscuits and put them in a stash. You could often see her checking them out, tapping them with her nose: one... two... lots. One... two... lots.

My Labrador likes to count biscuits in binary: "1 biscuit!" - chomp - "0 biscuit" (although she would prefer to count them in dozens).
