Ad blue

Got some ad blue drums from my work going to use them to put diesel in 

there is about a cupful left in each one as the machine operator couldn’t 

get them totally empty once diesel is in them get them to the boat 

will i be doing any harm to the lister completely emptying them in to the fuel tank

You will probably briefly raise your Lister to EuroCat6 or higher......

Adblue is mostly water with a bit of pig piss equivalent....

Isn't ad blue some form of urea for treating the exhaust gasses. Personally I would not want it trying to pass my filters and through the injection system.

Good idea it is normally injected prior to the catalytic converter and DPF its synthetic pig pee nowdays as others have

I would think it will be basically the same as having that amount of water in the drum.

Before you get too carried away Roxylass, make sure your supplier is happy to fill plastic containers at the size you have as not all are, particularly at larger sizes. The regs for fuel containers were designed around petrol iirc and it can all go a bit wooly when it comes to diesel.
