Diesel in mirfield

Hi all, I'm mooring in mirfield does anyone know where I can either go and buy on the boat or have delivered to us red diesel? Thanks

Shire Cruisers, Sowerby Bridge do diesel if there's nowhere closer.

South Pennine Boat Club at Battyeford have diesel for members. You could try them 01924 491320

I first read the title as "Diesel in Minefield". I know it can be hard to get at fuel pumps sometimes, but that's going a bit far.

Under the terms of the lease SPBC can only supply non-members with a small quantity in emergencies.

Saville Town, Calder Valley Marine do diesel, nearer than Sowerby Bridge. Have used them before, but not this year.

I wonder if it's still Mike at Mirfield, he ran a brokerage and Gordon at Calder Valley. They were both very helpful to us a long time ago when they worked together, we bought our son a starter boat from them.

We loved the waterways up there, so scenic and also industrial which had a beauty too.

Yes, it was still Gordon at Calder Valley last year, he also took over Shepley Bridge from Brian ?? a few years ago.
