Many ways of testing including hydrometer from Halfords or similar (instructions included), testing of corrosion resistance with litmus paper or a voltmeter, loads on youtube about this.

A freezer will check if it has been over-diluted, otherwise its antifreezing isn’t affected. Its anti-corrosion properties start reducing after a couple of years.  Not a great problem if you are not constantly topping up. Get some CH anti-corrosion additive from Screwfix if it needs it, or either replace the coolant or get a longer life one.  It costs a bit more, but not a great deal in the overall scheme of things in terms of boating costs.
