Mooring ?

No, it's just a towpath property really, but a very appealing one. Have a look on streetview, it's a lovely spot, access to the high street via an alleyway behind the cottage, little storage shed but no real land, and no mooring.

A bigger problem is no parking.

If you read the info it claims to have a bit of land extending along the canal, and a CRT approved mooring, though I assume that its towpath side.

Barton Under Needwood, John German sign up in the garden of the house below the lock saying number 3 and mooring coming up for sale soon.  Looks like number 3 is to the right of the main building in this photo.

This at Braunston could be something don’t know how to post details. It’s with Fisher German Banbury and is 4 acres  with moorings, small house and barns.

Brighouse: "one of the less salubrious stretches".

As it appears in the Estate Agent's ad:

And over 50 years ago, as shown in John Gagg's 'Canals in Camera', published in 1970.

The gasometer is no longer there, of course.

It's a moot point whether the HNC offers a round trip route... :)
