Planning on doing a Ring

We are planning on doing a ring from Napton Junction. We have 3 weeks.

Napton Junction - Fradley Junction - Great Hayward Junction - Autherley Junction - Old Turn (Deep Cuttings Junction) - Lapworth Junction - Napton Junction.

At Old Turn (Deep Cuttings Junction) would you go down the Worcester and Birmingham via King's Norton Junction, or left onto the Birmingham and Fazeley ( the way Canal planner recommends)?

I would definitely go down the Worse & Bum to Smelly Oak for the North Stratford. The B&F is locks down and then back up again thro' post industrilal urban landscape and transport infrastructure (to put it politely).

Out past the University and Bourneville and on to Solihull is much more pleasant.

I too much prefer the W&B route. Canal Planner does suggest the B&F route as being quicker, but in practice the time difference is minimal. This year we had to go that way and found it was only about an hour faster (after taking into account the half hour removing the Digbeth Duvet from our prop)
