Assuming you mean 'outside' then any of the proprietary boat paints.

By such as 'International', 'Hempel' etc.

Any top coat (even B&Q gloss) will give you a waterproof finish.

This is in the bathroom.

Hi Barry,

Our DacMatt or DacSatin products would be a good choice for the bathroom. They are waterbased acrylic emulsions so can go over most existing surfaces, easy to apply, quick drying and available in a whole raft of colours.

They are 'waterproof' but breathable meaning that any moisture currently on the wall is allowed to escape in the form of vapour.

Best regards,

Dacrylate.

RUST-OLEUM   produce a selection of paints that are very good on wood. Satin furniture paint. It can also be waxed, and they have a finishing wax. It isn't essential to use the wax. I've used it on bare wood around the kitchen area, and by the sink. It seems durable, even without the wax. Easy to use. From B&Q.
