beerbeerbeerbeerbeer
I don’t know how to create a link to the news (it’s on CRT website) but there’s an event in Brum this afternoon celebrating 50 years of Black Sabbath. Sounds bostin!

Peter X
The event should be just finishing as I write, do we have a reporter on the spot? It says Tommy Iommi and Geezer Butler were to arrive on a narrow boat, I hope at least that was all metal? Preferably a good thickness of steel? Rob-M
They arrived on Scorpio with the other VIP attendees on Swift if it went according to plan. Unfortunately I couldn't be there to skipper one of the motors.

dmr
Now that Brum finally acknowledges Heavy Metal music and the part it played in the cities history maybe they will try to save the Flapper rather than continuing to allow heavy metal and rock venues to be shut down, (or even closing them down themselves). ..............Dave

What about Walsall's own Noddy Holder and Slade, surely there should be a Christmas themed celebration for them.
john6767
Thanks for the videos, I was hoping to get there, but I am a bit jet lagged at the moment so in the end passed on it (lightweight I know).
