Twin tub washer

I have a twin tub washer, not sure of make, but blue plastic and holds 1.5Kg. It has been fine for many years, but now refuses to spin. I have taken access panel off released the drum brake, but still jammed.

Has anyone any advice on repairing these? Looks pretty difficult to dismantle!

Alternatively suggestions for a new one? I am only a summer user and small is good.

There are nice small 2.5 kg mains twin tubs available. Google or look on ebay for portable twin tub washing machine. They are compact and do a good job for less than a hundred squids.

Only problem is choosing one! ?

I guess the leisure direct one at £75 looks like the latest version of what I have.

So unless anyone has a specific ? or ? item I will go for that.

We have the Good Ideas 3.5Kg machine.  Useful piece of kit.  About the same footprint as 4 110 Ah batteries ( ours lives on top of them!).
