Colwich Lock, T&M, maintenance problem

CRT helped us through the lock this morning along with several other boats. One of the paddles at the top gate (not the one on the gate) broke and wouldn't close. For the weekend they've managed to shut the paddle, and tape it up.

 

The CRT guy said they'd be closing the lock next week while they fix it.  This is just a head's up for anyone planing to go through the lock next week; to keep an eye on closures.

That might help us make a decision which way to head then when we go out next week if the lock is closed.
