K99 Water Resistant Grease

Grease gun almost empty and so is the pot of general purpose grease.

 

Are there any disadvantages to using K99 water resistant grease for doing the prop shaft UJ's and the plummer block bearing????

 

Its chucking it down at Middlewich so though I would do a quick service.

K99 has been lubricating the plummer block in Jarrah for the last 30 years.  It is a  bronze split plain bearing.  The feed pipe is teed off the stern tube feed, with a regulating valve to control the distribution.
