The best way to pass moored boats...

 Yeah...........not!! In fairness though the hirers will have been told the score and probably just boating like most of the private boaters that go past me at my mooring!! Its certainly not the hire companies fault. How many times have you been tailgated on the motorway by a big van that says Enterprise on the side?  I dont ring their agency either.

there's nothing like opening the throttle on a nice long straight stretch and seeing how much you can make all the moored boats rock around the clock.

With some boat owners, they think the best way to pass them is for you to take another route.

Hirer is told - Slow down when passing moored boats.  He does so.  Then he ties up for lunch.  Three private boats go past without slowing.  He thinks "Bu**er it, why should I slow down, when they don't".

Best way is with blinkers and ear plugs. That way you never get wound up by the whinger you will inevitably encounter.
