My renewal turned with the 60 days

We've had to change insurers 3 times in the last 5 years, on each occasion because our existing insurer changed their requirements - two of them, at renewal time, to say only one such period per annum (one was just 30 days and one was 60 days), the third changed it mid-term and also even retrospectively to say there must be at least 30 consecutive days living in the house between any two 60 day periods. It is essential to check the small print, and get clarification in writing if necessary.
