Prm delta 20 gearbox o rings

Hi all I’m just gonna get straight into it as this is boggling my mind . I have a prm delta 20 gearbox which I’m in the middle of replacing all o rings but Im confused to the locations the 2 go on the main shafts . I can see the schematic drawings prm have printed but looks like the large one is located in the clutch gear and piston which is pressed in . Or is it sitting in between ?. On schematic pic d19 and d18 I’m just not sure about . Has anybody done the seals o rings before any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

That's the O ring that goes on the outside of the piston. The piston is inside the gear and is not pressed in - it can't be as it has to compress the clutch pack

Thank you .

The large 0 ring in your photo goes on D16 the piston.

Thanks guys that is super help I understand totally now i didn’t realise it just pops out the gear I was so confused it just looked part of the whole gear ? o well one has to check a dozen times to make sure . I did visit prm as there just around the corner and they helped me out tremendously. Walked me straight into there workshops to an engineer who speacialises in the shaft assembly . Little chat later insisted a bit of compressed air to the oil channel boom pops out the piston I was so amazed as happy . Came bk home popped straight out was so happy to see the o rings well one as the centre one was luring inside all withered and that moment I was so happy to find the problem . All rebuilt now smashed it out straight away as of the engine which Iv done a full rebuild on too that got a little bit more tlc than the gearbox but I can think about painting it later and get out and enjoy some journeys on these lovely sunny days as it has taken me forever .

Again rlwp and bizzard thank you for your excellent and professional response to a newbie to this site .
