Felshampo
They are in the process of closing lock 3 for a couple of days to repair the cill. We got through this morning. They still seem to be letting boats through from the Caldon festival though!

Cheshire cat
It was certainly padlocked today (Wednesday) much to the dismay of a Black Prince boat. There is no notice of operating hours on the service block notice board although it does say you have to book to go through Harecastle.
captain birdseye
They are opening full time from the 27th. Notice has just come through. to quote We have had significant and sustained rainfall in the North West over the last couple of weeks which has improved our reservoir holdings sufficiently to ensure we have enough water for the remainder of the boating season. We are pleased to advise, from Monday 27 July, we will remove the operating times and padlocks from the Marple and Bosley Lock Flights along the Peak Forest and Macclesfield canals.
