Vetus macerator thread

Featured Posts

Hi folks,

I'm in the middle of repairing my Vetus WC12S2 toilet, and I need to remove the macerator to release a small item that's jamming the blade. A colleague at work has told me to make sure I know whether it's reverse thread or not, as he broke the water pump in his garden pond doing the same thing. So does anyone know whether these blades are reverse thread? My colleague has said they sometimes do this to prevent the thread from working it's way loose when rotating - which makes sense. Any advice is much appreciated!

Cheers
