Stilllearning
Seen on the Charente moored to the bank in Jarnac. It has been there a few years and I have often meant to photograph it before now. Anyone have any idea of its origins?
Rick-n-Jo
Morgan Giles. V. substantial fiberglass hulls. Hydraulic drive. Used to be a hire fleet of them based at Aynho Wharf on the S. Oxford.

Bee
Haven't seen one of them for years, guess it got there by lorry some time ago, probably sold and now appears to be registered in Lyon (I think that's what the LY means on the bow.) There's a few waifs and strays scattered around. There's a stripped out narrowboat in a boatyard on a dead end branch off the Rhine about 20 miles North of Strasbourg, it must have got there via the Rhine. Exciting trip. Theres also what looks like a slightly over width Springer or a copy of a Springer rusting away in a ship yard at St. Jean de Losne.
