Port Loop Development - Canoe to work ?

How would you like to row down a canal to work every morning? Or dip your toes in the water at the end of your garden? Maybe borrow a kayak from a communal store and go for a paddle every time you fancied some exercise?

These are the ambitions for daily life at Port Loop, a 43-acre development on an “urban island” in Birmingham that will place water at the centre of, well, everything.

I saw that too.

Marketing bollocks, IMHO.

I quite like the loop as it is (was)

It's better now the semi sunken hoppers have been removed. Quite a lot of ground works and new walls had been done when I went round the loop at the end of March.

Not sure where people will be working if they are canoeing to work.
