Vetus engine identification.

Looks like a Mitsubishi K series engine,possibly a K3c,I think Vetus use an M prefix for there model numbers.????   Vetus engines are usually painted yellow,so this may be a Thorneycroft,as mine is painted a similar colour.

Much appreciated Ian, and for those concerned, the cable has been removed as shown in the other images.

No idea Richard, that image was one of the previous owners. 

He pointed out that there was a problem with the starter motor, failing to mention there is no starter motor.

So trying to identify the engine to replace the starter motor..
