magpie patrick
I rather fancy one of these - would take waterway exploration to the next level... Anyone any thoughts? (Other than "he's really lost the plot this time...")
Sea Dog
You'd get a lot of stick for the hat... (Not from me, I hasten to add. I rather like hats!) Edited April 12, 2019 by Sea Dog Bit in brackets

It's an interesting concept but if I was seriously considering something like that then I would be looking more towards a kayak (possibly a sit on one) to which I might add an electric motor. That I feel would offer me more of the options I would be looking for from a teeny tiny beastie. ETA Sorry, not really what you were wanting. Athy
Buy it, build it, use it once, grin inanely, then spend the next few years tripping over it as it gathers dust in the back of the garage. I suppose it might have a specialist use, for exploring those wee creeks and such which are impassable in a proper boat.

zenataomm
I watched the video merely because I couldn't imagine how you'd climb into one without wearing an expression of terror due to its top heavy wobbly'ness. No where in the video do we see anyone attempting it, so I conclude that's its main design flaw. Possibly along with the jigsaw joints in the hull flying apart following a head on meeting with anything stationary. Great fun ……. but not for me nor anyone I remotely care about. Aside from the cartoon look, which appeals to me, the sitting position and the small cabin covering the wheel (and camera etc) look very practical - this may prove an illusion! I could also see the appeal of gliding round a newly dug out bit of canal in one - if one held a restoration festival in 100 yards of reopened canal one or two of these would catch the eye
