Heartland Posted April 12, 2019 Report Share Posted April 12, 2019 The 1857 engraving appears to have been subject to artistic licence showing the Dundas Aqueduct extending to include the railway span, which it did not. I think it is important to note that this was a separate aqueduct originally constructed to span the broad gauge tracks of what became a GWR route to link up with the LSWR and should be recognised as engineered by Brunel.
