Thats an interesting one.

 

In my early 20's I had my own mini computer that worked in Octal, but it was rare even then.

Binary, Hex, Octal is a bit like Cassette/Pumpout/Composting.........there is no future in Octal.

Duodecimal would of bin the most sensible system of all to have adopted in my opinion.

 

Divisible by 2,3,4 and 6.

Been boating today, Walsden to Summit, one of the best bits of canal anywhere, went to pub (Summit Inn at Summit) to celebrate getting here, but now drinking cider to celebrate a bit more.
