Marina with slipway on The Great Ouse or Nene

Slipway at Willy Watt marina in Ringstead, Not an easy one as its on a curve. Was OK with my 20ft Norman and my wife's short wheelbase Rav 4 4x4. Also one at Blackthorn Marina but that is also used for blacking narrow boats which restricts access.

Also Westview marina at Earith on Gt Ouse, straight run down the New Bedford River to the Middle Level ;)

Think you have many options but they all probably involve paying someone for a months parking.

Does anyone know if the PYC do that sort of thing for visitors?

Have you seen this site -

PYC did when we were members there 10 years ago

Oundle Marina also used to have facilities

Hartford Marina also used to have one

What an odd stretch of water the New Bedford is.

Hence the ;)

Not easy to do going downstream without punching the tide as the lower end pretty much dries out at  low tide, Upstream is OK as you come up with the tide.

Unless you overtake it like we did!

Had to slow right down half way and let it catch up.
