I passed a boat called 'Pennyless' today, which seemed appropriate.

 

My favourite boat name is 'Canalgesic' though.

Tom Henshaw had a boat that finished up being called Wet Paint as the sign was left alongside it for so long it was assumed that was its name, and so it became.

We met Miner Bill a couple of weeks back on the Atherstone flight. Its a good looking boat. Colecraft have turned out a small number of trad/tug style boats and Miner Bill is one of them, with a full tug deck and trad style handrail etc etc. Its interesting as although very different to a typical Colecraft they are still recognisable as Colecraft.

Its also good to see full time liveaboards on a tug deck boat.

Can't remember the details but I think he changed the boat name to Miner Bill is honour to his dad who was a miner.
