What model combi is it? Need a bit more info.

Is it working in inverter mode?

My victron Phoenix had a hiccup last year and after a shore power outage, didn't turn back on when the power returned. As we we off the boat, we then had no shore power.

Never again trust a combi. Rewired and bought a cheap victron IP22 30A charger and use the combi as inverter only with 240v to the boat but not via the Victron combi. Separates is the way forward.

We have an assortment of plugs and sockets left over from lumpy boat days i.e. Y splitters, 16 to 32A, etc but the most useful is a 'blue' Male to a standard 13A socket to test bollards. Plug it in then plug in something inside the boat that comes to hand like Mrs Bobs hairdryer.......but don't drop it into the water.

Yup, I always carried one of those, left over from our camping days, for exactly the same purpose.
