Good Morning.

Lots of drivel last night. From the usual protagonists unfortunately.

Important point, has anyone asked him if he wants to come back here?

I understood he had a hissy fit and took his bat and ball off home of his own free will.

Over being wrongly accused of a misdemeanor? But full apologies were made.

Has anyone got his mobile <pm please> - I will text him.

As Mike is still a CWDF member, if you wish to you can send him a Personal Message, which should show up amongst his e-mails.

Mrs Bob's just read this and suggested the following:

For your socks use 2.25mm needles, circular or DPNs, 64 stitch count. Use fingering weight sock yarn. Regia is a good make.

Make sure when you turn the heel you reduce the di-lithium flow to 3.2225 cm3 per second and balance the plasma flow accurately.

That's prolly where you are going wrong.

What we learnt last night was that knitting socks was not rocket science.

.........oh, maybe it is?

Not necessarily. It depends how his notifications are set up.

I have no idea about that. When I receive a P.M., it shows up on my list of new e-mails, so I presume that the same happens for other people too. But you won't know until you try.

Well I'm no expert, but 2.25mm needles seem a bit short to me!

I have mine set to alert only when I'm logged into the forum.

.....but when you try you won't know if you don't get an answer if he never got your pm via email in the first place because his settings were different or in the event he has set a block on cwdf emails or if his router has gone west (or east).
