android smartphone reminder facility

Just dumped my old mobile which had a useful reminder faciility. Can't see that option on the new android. Is there one?

 Android Oreo Samsung Galaxy J3 - Yes.   Apps;  Calendar; Create an event by tapping the  +   button. Choose the reminder time.

 

Settings; Sounds will let you change the alarm noise.

Alarm? can be set any time over next 7 days and multiples theirof?

You can also use Google Keep to create a note and add a reminder for a particular time.

If you have google assistant you can just ask 'Google' to set a reminder for anytime, either an alarm or an entry into google calendar, reminder to remember someones birthday/ pay bills etc
