Due to the success of the forum and our continued expansion a number of vacancies exist in our site staff. At present we are looking to take on an additional two moderators, and a member of technical staff. Moderators will join the current site staff in front line work, tasks will include; - Maintaining the forums content and atmosphere - Merging duplicated topics and posts - Moving topics and editing topic Titles - Approving member adverts and link database. - Removing inappropriate content and providing warnings to members - Removing spam and removing/reporting spammers. - Delegating repeat and troublesome offenders to myself. No prior experience required, and a working knowledge of using the forum software and and comfort with using IT system is naturally required. Technical staff will - Provide front line technical support to members with problems such as log-in difficulties. - Work alongside myself to develop the site, updating software, maintaining a development site and working on additional features. - Provide moderator support where required. No specific forum-related prior experience required, however a working knowledge of working with websites and web software will be required. If you are interesting in taking on a role within the forum staff please contact myself (link below) or one of the existing moderators and inform them of your interest, if possible please provide a short explanation of the reasons you are interested in joining the team, and any experience, knowledge or skills you can offer.
