We went up and down the flight in 2021 - a lot of the anti-vandal handcuff locks (pun intended) didn't work so were left open - I think I read somewhere (NarrowboatWorld?) that they have only got worse.

There is an excellent yard at Yardley Gobion - Baxters. Expensive but our paint is still like new - done in autumn 2019. Need to book far ahead.

Go Boats staff sometimes go off from the Maida Hill tunnel - causing chaos. Also heard of one suddenly turning round mid tunnel and heading back towards oncoming boat!
Is anybody keeping this tracker up to date? Maybe an easier way is if fuel boats use nick atty's canal planner and they could then allow his site to track their boat evertime they login - no effort needed.
PS anyone going to be any where near Nantwich/ LLangollen last week of April?
Cheers!
I agree with all the advice to say more about yourself, your boat and location(s). Also, you might want to offer different periods on your boat as a friend of mine does - his friends leave and join near convenient railway stations. Takes some planning to coordinate of course. .... and you might then ask how much boating experience they have if any.
