  1. Hi Guys.... ....opportunity to move from Sheffield to Bristol. Had a quick look at the marina's....but would really prefer something a little wilder. Anyone know anything...in generally?
  2. Perhaps, a hotter flue would help draw the smoke up the chimney. I've experienced all the above...forget about having a clean glass, get it up to temp.
  3. I seriously looked into them, but didn't proceed. I've always liked them, too
  4. ....just completed 1st ever mass catering job in Old Ray....super for 52 over 2 days....totally shattered.
  5. Horse it is....guys forgive off topic Peter Richard gushing....for now thank you and goodnight.....
  6. Looking forward to making beef jerky, spiced in the warming oven...that's when I can get it....Simon's moved into the warming oven btw....I found his pillow and jemima in it this morning. Every boat needs a handsome cabin boy....nearly as much as a Rayburn I say!
  7. Woolly mamouth perchance, wolf, trex, horse with horse chips...I say. I need another surprise guest anyone? Big Col?
  8. ....you can have anything you request....do you not want something a little grander...? Lobster, rib beef, goat, rabbit, snails, swan, duck/swan, unicorn, horse....etc.... Say horse....please... Vegan boat here btw.
  9. Peter.....we're not all as progressive as you, I'll turn Rayburn Parker jnr down. Hey he ain't afraid of no roasts....who ya going to call. Coldbusters....i have more puns available upon request. As stated you have massive roast in the bag, thanks so much for your help...you rock. What's the day rate again?
  10. It's too hot.....we seem to be cruising at about 400f.....let's see how we get on.
  11. Cooked first meal, baby aubergine, French trimmed lamb chops, garlic, thyme...rare. Then polished the evening off with x2 bottles of champagne of which I sabre'd off the corks. May I also point out that myself and Peter could easily work as a Fred Dibnah and Guy Martin tribute act! Thanks for all your help Peter...soon, very soon Rib of Beoff and very very finest deep, rich, expensive red...
  12. Myself and Peter boat did it......yup cast iron. Now at 450 Fahrenheit complete test run.
  13. Yes...sold fuel and left hand oven. Very exciting...
  14. In it's prime clearly Martin...now, can anyone help me. The vandals took the handles...any one got one laying about...will trade for hot water!
  15. Dear All, so after weeks of work please see reconditioned 1957 Rayburn Royal. It's going to cook my supper, heat 1x 5kw & 1x 1.2k radiator and give me free homemade hot water. Get in!....NOW to restore the rest of the boat.
