    Normal for Gardners, the bonus being in Winter it never has to start from ice cold. My thermostat has the calorifier take off before the stat, allowing hot water straight away, only when the engine gets really hot does the stat to the skin tank open.

    We had a widebeam Collingwood dropped in here that had the wheel steering wired opposite to correct. It was quite funny.

    I've had the Samsung Galaxy A9 phone since March 2018 and it's still going strong, battery lasts all day unless I am using it a lot. Try to disable Bing though, horribly intrusive.

    Someone (an occasional forum contributor and decent boat painter) did try to bring a widebeam size dry dock from somewhere on the Nene to the GU, and tow it along and work from it. I recall CRT put a stop to it as it was too large to fit through locks, therefore would not have been able to fulfil the range required by the 'boat without home mooring' licence.

    Why is 300l not enough, there are plenty of taps along the way, if you take a mooring, there is usually a tap available. Do you have a large bath?

    I had Comastic previously, did a lot of ice breaking in 2009-11...and it didnt affect it. I now have Dacrylate epidac 16 2 pack , it also seems unaffected by ice breaking (nothing better than a winter cruise on a sparkling frosty day!!.)
