    Stoke Bruerne flight was closed Jan-mid March for gates, cill protectors and other works. The missing lower gate paddle at lock 18 which has not been there for 18 months wasnt re-instated while this was going on.

    Midnight Blue, nearest and LH is latest Symphony mix, far one is Symphony paints Mason P type mix from 2017. This has lost its purple hue, except for where protected by cratch cover etc.

    There is a LOT of difference between the various Midnight Blues produced. Symphony standard midnight blue is different from the Symphony Midnight Blue Masons P type copy produced for us a few years ago. Craftmaster MB is probably more like the MasonsP was.

    If that's the Stowe Hill Secret Garden then yes, still going, resold by RBS in about 2018 I recall. My 2L2 from 1943 was originally in an liverpool dock crane, no idea of its interim history until its installation in Old Friends in about 1996 by Duncan Penkey.

    Pretty sure I saw Baltic over last weekend between Campbell Park and Stoke Bruerne. I cant be any more accurate than that unfortunately.

    Pretty much all we use unless masking curves or patterns,where we often use the Craftsmaster red tape. I called the Kleenedge Pinctura Fresca for years until actually taking note of the outer packaging....

    The main navigation channel turns left into Barrow Deep Lock, the river Carrie's straight on west in a big loop past Quorn and returns to the navigation channel at Barrow boating sluices and wier. It is all private riparisn owner operated mooring land, not CRT waters.

    The little pamphlet would have given CRT the first points in the battles with the Lee Anderson, JonathanGulis types who are coming to the waterways and saying after 6 months, . "I didn't know, nobody told me, why should I?"
