  1. On the cut? Surrounded by trees, or perhaps in a cutting?
  2. Bobby Dazzler is another. Available all over the place... https://caravanandmotorhomeparts.com/products/fenwicks-bobby-dazzler
  3. “The European Union agreed in February 2013 to the mutual procedures for the complete denaturing of alcohol:[10] From Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denatured_alcohol
  4. That simply means they’ve made it taste horrid. It shouldn’t positively affect its burning temperature.
  5. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 10 posts to view.
  6. BSS failure. Evidence of heat damage to one side...
  7. Ethanol and Meths are fundamentally the same thing as I understand it. My dad's old paraffin blowlamp was always fun to light.
  8. Absolutely. The manufacturer will supply charging figures for their batteries.
  9. Are you sure? This chart from Wikipedia shows them to be much the same, with kerosene being slightly hotter: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adiabatic_flame_temperature
  10. It can't, without knowing the spec. Unfortunately, neither can we. What are the manufacturer's figures?
  11. Yup. Firstly do a power audit, secondly work out how you will generate that. Go backwards and forwards with those two until they balance. Lastly, buy enough batteries.
  12. I think it’s just luck of the draw. I’ve had a lot of desktop computers over the last 25 years or so and some of them kept going until retirement whilst others died for one reason or another. I’ve had cheap office computers die and I’ve had multi-thousand pound workstations die. No rhyme nor reason that I’ve noticed.
  13. All you need to do is to fully charge them as often as possible, at the very least, weekly, more often if possible. It’s all in the OP.
  14. The CombiMaster 12/2000-100 and the CombiMaster 12/3000-100 have identical specs for power consumption so that isn't an issue. Very true
  15. Well said, Tony. It would appear that @republicscentedhasn’t read the OP at all. Or if he has, he hasn’t understood it. I suggest he’d do well to study it.
  16. To see how easy it’ll be to replace the cable, give it a gentle tug from above and see if you can see it moving down below - this will be easier with two of you. If you can, then securely attach a piece of string to the end of the cable in the cabin and pull it up through and out of the roof. Once you’ve done that you can use that pull-string to pull through any new cables. The 2A 12V feed will just be for the aerial amplifier which you probably won’t require if you replace the broken flying saucer with a decent log periodic.
  17. We’ve had a severe weather warning from the Met office for 3am Saturday to 6pm Sunday in The Midlands.
  18. Me neither. When she first said it I was thinking of limber holes in the framing.
  19. ?https://www.wish.com/product/5ebf8a9e34418e47b738cfa4
  20. Indeed... I have something similar (different box!).
  21. You’re not keeping it in the gas locker like I told you, now are you?
