  1. just pop them in the bottom of the burner pot when lighting the fire they just burn away with a green flame (work by magic)

It's normal for these stoves to run with a yellowish flame,,Should be Blue No it isn`t,suggest you check the lower air holes in the burner pot which are more than likely carbon build up,the cleaning tablets are good but will not clear baked on carbon deposits in the holes have a good scrap around in there with a stubby screw driver http://www.lockgate-stoves.co.uk/ have a word with mike and he`ll put you right
  6. here s the dirt about 3 or 4 years a go a was curious as to what use some 6 x 6 steel posts that were being put in at cranfleet lock by BW and was told they were people counters. they stand about 4 ft high with just a small keyhole in them , ive seen a fair few of them about i queried it with bw at the time as to why they were wasting money on them to count pedestrians and the reply was if they could prove that there was XXX amount of visitors they would get extra funding, I was also told that they didnt cost anything as they were made in house,,which made me chuckle as i dont know anyone who works for nothing(free steel, free labour installing them, free electronic wizardry inside)

  16. good one,,now heres me thinking outside the box now you have it registered as being parked there over night might you also get away with parking your car there with no fear of being clamped for overstaying after all tescos insurance has accepted that you will park there for insurance puposes?

  19. been live aboard for around 11 years now and seen 3 deaths in that time boating related ,2 suicides 1 accident,,is it dangerous? nah you stand more chance round here of getting shot/stabbed
