    I agree with this, the other halfs boat is 62 and very relaxed to steer, on the other hand my 48ft is very very keen to have a closer look at the offside veg

    There was sealand RAF base not all that far away, I think used as a training base during the war and an emergency airfield.

    When I was fishing a lot I would often just take a rod and a small bag, wandering along the river bank, finding likely looking areas and moving on as and when. It is a lovely way to spend a summers day, often I would just watch the wildlife.

    It is always the same, do your job and do it well and people will leave happy, make a mistake or in fact give someone the answer they dont want to hear (however correct that answer is), and out comes facebook, the ranty email and complaints to the local rag/forum.

    Really? well in that case.... Obviously it wasn't me who bought a take out of half a dozen bottles of Newcastle Brown with pockets full of change, whilst camping in the scout cottage up the road, nope it definitely wasn't me and if it was me, which it wasn't I was definitely over 18 at the time

    Tried it a few years ago just to see if it was as good as I remember, first sarnie was great, childhood memories came flooding back and it left me in a warm blanket of nostalgia. Second tasted of sweet sick, so it all got thrown away

    I went on a tourist trip in NZ and it was rough as, and I loved it, stood on the front whilst the boat crashed into what seemed to me to be massive waves (I'm sure it was relatively tame) Trip boat decided to turn around because of the seas and I was ordered back inside, into the hot vomit filled cabin full of green faced fellow tourists, one wiff of the sick buckets and my stomach turned and I spent the rest of the trip trying not to upchuck.
