Personally I don't think it is any different. Whatever the location, road, river, field no one should have there home removed without some sort of organised alternative

As a minimum social services should have been there but then again I'm one of those hippy idealists that thinks that no one should be left like this

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the situation and I doubt anyone here really knows the history of who did what to who the poor sod shouldn't have been left on the towpath with his possessions stacked around him

And one of the problems is that his last boat had a resonably common name and I remember a FB post go completely paranoid with people worried that boatx was moored near them. All I know is stories and supposition, no real facts, mind you I did see some coppers get very excited when told he was in the area

Did you report this to the police? Theres a local boater with a reputation and he is in the area at the moment, the police are apparently keeping an eye on him and the more information they have

Used to cut grass on an estate in Mold and the nearby factory make shower gel and similar, whole place smelled like a cheap boudoir ( I think). First day moving into a small flat was a day when the local place rendered all the dead farm animals down, that was rank, stopped noticing after a month Lever bros has a soap factory just a few miles away from home as a kid and its amazing how that used to stink Oh and finally all I can say is growing up in Ellesmere Port gave one a wierd idea of what the world smells like, always remember the smell of home fondly (not!), I think we might have similar memories of the port ?
