  1. Well, I think it would be easier to ask if there is one, I wasn't asked to take photos of each component, I was asked to photograph certain elements and some cameras are better than others. That is simply no so. I clearly stated that it was due to the lack of a potable expansion tank AND poor installation of the plumbing as the idiot who plumbed it used broken pushfits connectors, plastic pipe with no inserts and they couldn't work out what was causing the leak. There was evidence of their search for the leak, a mirror behind the shower unit where they had tried to look at the piping there, a calorifier that was isolated, another mirror underneath that looking for a leak. The whole system and most of the pipe connectors had to be replaced because each time I fixed one element another weak component would fail. This was due to the lack of an expansion vessel and the fact that the expansion vessel being used as an accumulator was knackered. New calorifier, new pump, new accumulator, new expansion vessel, new filter before the pump.
  2. Maybe, but surely ensuring all components are present and correct is the primary investigation. When supposedly 'knowledgeable' people miss the fact that an important component is missing, one has to question the knowledge.
  3. No, I am retaliatory. The reactions to any post I make are just mean and derogatory and a bit like the investigations I was directed to do.... unnecessary. I post and the band waggon starts to roll and the usual suspects jump on it relishing an argument as they have nothing else in their lives to look forward to, it is a break from the dire endless emptiness of their existence. But at least it keeps the site from dying I suppose.....
  4. Such a nice person
  5. As is your choice, I never forced anyone to respond.
  6. The posts were mainly about the leak and I received days and days of misdirection and poor advice from those on here purporting to be knowledgeable or indeed boat builders. It wasn't a tantrum it was obviously backlash from poor advice, irrelevant investigation and wasted time which equals wasted money due to that advice. Boats are indeed set up differently, however, the basic elements still need to be there, for example a water pump, potable accumulator, potable expansion tank and a calorifier are required to get hot water from running the engine in order for it to be set up as it should be. Well I will certainly be treating any advice from people on this forum as suspect at the very least from now on, I will not give those who want me gone the satisfaction of my leaving though.🤣🤣🤣
  7. Here we go....the knives are out....the band waggon is rolling and the usual suspects are jumping on it...... I get sick to death of people spouting crap, and that, it seems, is all some of you can do.. Not one of you so called knowledgeable boaters or even those purporting to be boat builders hit on the fact that my leak issues were down to a lack of any expansion vessel and poor plumbing installation. Check this no it's that oh you better check this first...total crap.. Took me ten times longer to sort out my leak issues because of the 'knowledgeable' people on here. So........ I guess you know my opinion of what most of you have to say. Sitting there just waiting to snare some unsuspecting newbie and then get him band then feed him crap when they ask for assistance...... Not worth chatting with!!
  8. Given any pointless, confusing, irrelevant and unnecessarily technical advice to anyone else lately
  9. Or they can't justify their comments
  10. I simply wanted to know what was wrong with what I said that would warrant such a patronising response
  11. Please tell me what is wrong with what I said
  12. I've had the immersion on through the inverter since 3:15 this afternoon it is now 22:09 I still have 70% battery charge, a tank of hot water and loads of spare power.
  13. Well I have two 300ah lithium batteries and I am having to turn off the charger every day, to stop the batteries going above 95%, I know they turn themselves off but that is at full charge, keeping the charge at 95% help battery life. So all that wasted solar could easily heat a 1kw immersion heater and I wouldn't need to turn off the charge unit, so that's what I intend doing after it is fully installed. I all depends on your situation lar panels and how much you can produce, my 54ft boat has a full roof of flexible panels 3 large 400w two 200w and two 175w, I have an industrial air fryer that I use all the time pictured below and it doesn't take enough out of the batteries, a 1kw immersion should be no problem in summer
  14. Taken some time Well I obviously got it through
  15. Not when the calorifier hot water outlet is off and nowhere for the pressure from the hot water from the water heater to go.
