  1. Hi all, this is my first post on here and I've only had my boat for 1day. Spent 12 months looking for the right boat within my budget and finally found one that I love, but unfortunately the marina I thought I had sorted many months ago has now told me that my boat is too small for their marina!! I have a 30ft narrow boat. I'm starting med school in Coventry in 2 weeks time, so desperately need somewhere to moor up, anywhere will do, even better if its within travelling distance, secure, and perfect if it had electricity too!! I don't have a car so I need to be able to get to a bus or train station really, but will consider fields, ends of gardens, or any mooring basically! Its going to take me a week to get the boat to warwickshire from its current mooring so I need to be leaving soon and it would be great to know where my base will be. I spoke to BW who can rent me a spot in Titford near Dudley, but its a bit out of the way I think and I don't know how secure it will be, especially given that this is my first boat. I am particularly interested in Banbury, Rugby, Nuneaton, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Birmingham, Bedworth, Brinklow, Napton areas. I have looked everywhere I ca think of and contacted all the marinas I can find on the internet, but my boat is either too small or they are full. I'm basically looking for a mooring to use whilst I find a more permanent one, and don't mind continual cruising if its only every few weeks and I know where I'm going. any suggestions would be really great!! Or alternatively, if anyone has any info on living in Titford and quicker transport links, that would be fantastic too.
