  1. Made Margaret more comfortable with the situation whether necessary or not.
  2. It was discussed. He had to enter or override to computer. Don’t Dan!
  3. Nightwatch

    CRT

About a year ago, and after years of it being mentioned, I contacted CRT to simply put my wife’s name, with mine, on the ownership of Nightwatch. Just in case I kicked the bucket and there was a dispute of ownership. Peace of mind etc. We have owned boats since 2002 and Nightwatch since 2005. Anyway, not just adding Margaret’s name to the ownership CRT thinks/acts and treats us as new owners. Even sending welcome notes and boating rules regs etc. It’s a bit hurtful but I’m such a sensitive character. I just thought they may have a system in place to recognise many years of ‘membership’. An observation that’s all.
  4. We seem, as a country, to be hell bent on giving money, arms and other support to countries other than our own rather than getting our own house in order. How many millions are poured into the immigration issues. The the ‘support’ of immigrants arriving in this once lovely and prosperous country of ours. Every where you look there’s problems. NHS, education, Police, Armed Forces, roads, transport. Councils, social services, everywhere has been starved of funds for far too long. Perhaps another government may do better. Maybe not! We need more money in the purse. Tax increases rather than cuts. Tax cuts, how is that going to help?
  5. I get the gist of what you’re saying. But I can’t avoid thinking that monies that are available are they being utilised in the best way. There’s a number of highly paid ‘managers’ that seem to be mismanaging. When you here of prices being paid to contractors fixing defects that could perhaps have been avoided by good honest preventative programmed maintenance. But that is my opinion. We need government backing to be raised for this national asset to secure its future survival.
  6. As with the NHS. Junior doctors for instance. No pay increases for years and then pitiful pay offers hoping no-one will notice. The Armed forces are getting uncomfortable with their lot now. No wonder we are drastically short of recruits throughout each service. Mind you, there’s not enough RN ships to defend the country anyway. Even if they did work and were crewed.
  7. Taa mucho! It seems the increase for CC’ers is not as severe as I thought it would be. Still feel uncomfortable with it though. A bit of money grabbing going on I reckon.
  8. Someone mentioned a license calculator somewhere. Anyone know where to find it please?

  11. Jack Mitton. Horrible experience in there. I think the building is nye on derelict now.
  12. We went in there seven or so years ago. Always remembered it as a good experience.

  14. We are both knocking on the door of 71. We are leaving where we have been moored for the past 15 months. All of our lock wheeling muscles seem to have gone elsewhere. I suppose they will reappear once we’re on our way.
