  1. If you google "wellsee mppt fake" you will find a number of people indicating that the Wellsee MPPT controller is in fact NOT an MPPT controller. It does howecver appear to funtion as a normal controller. To quote this site, which I have used and trust but have no connection with, On the information I have found I personnaly would not expect the Wellsee MPPT controller to work as an MPPT controller however it should work as a normal controller, in which case I see no point in purchasing it.
  2. As the title states portable washing machine on offer at Maplins. Got one of these from Maplins in rugby (near Tescos), very happy with it for the money. Clicky

  8. This may be of use to someone. It is a few pages long word document showing how to make a MC4 connection. MC4 connection instructions - WORD DOC These come from navitron.co.uk. it might be worth asking the original question on the navitron forum here navitron Renewable Energy and Sustainability Forum
  9. I'm also interested in the answer to this, any info gratefully received. Don't these MC3 and MC4 connectors require an expensive specialised crimping tool? Or can they be connected without the tool?
  10. Thanks for the analysis and link Justme. Using the link you provided I do get the immpresion that these appear to be a bit home grown and that if I purchased one I would in fact be acting as a field tester for an early production model. Whilst I wish the company well in what they are trying to achieve I think I will pass on the current model. As the dragons might say good luck but I'm out.
