  1. I had a leaking Houdini hatch, took out all of the screws holding it down squirted some sealant into holes, put screws back in problem sorted. Hope this helps.
  2. I have passed quite a few widebeams on my travels both on the K&A, Reding – Bristol, and the G U, Brentford – Camps Hill Locks, never had any troubles passing them with my widebeam, you just take it as it comes.

  11. Same size hatch as yours, my boat is 11ft wide. I just wanted to stop condensation as we have a utilities room at back with door to bedroom.
  12. Yes on the inside, Not much insulation but NO condensation.
  13. I also have a Liverpool boat so same hatch as yours with same problem of condensation, just stuck some carpet tiles on mine, been ok for the past 8 years or so.
  14. I seem to recall passing this boat at this spot on the 9th July on my way up to Camp Hill.
  15. This boat seems to have been moored there for quite some time, almost abandoned even, the ropes are getting frayed as they rub against the pilings, swings about quite a bit to.

  18. No. Spent our time on the Thames and K&A. First time up this way. Quite a few old boats moving, so nice to see and hear them.
  19. No the wife was doing the counting. yes over 12hrs. We are only used to about 12 boats a day. Still nice to see this many boats on the move.
  20. WOW 125 boat movements today same area.
  21. Lots of boat movement about on the GU today between Napton Junction and Braunston Turn, we counted 73 form 0730hrs to 1930hrs, nice to see.
  22. Is this on the Warwickshire Avon at Wyre Piddle, seem to recall seeing something like this when we were up that way last year.
