Thanks for that chewbacka I did what you said, opened the valve for a minute and lightly tapped the valve it seems to have sorted it. Thanks for this forum and its members.

Good evening for the last couple of hours my pump has been taking a while to shut off,now it seems to running all the time and I've just found my clorifier (think that's spelt wrong) overflowing, any idea to what's causing this. The clorifier is heated by a boatmans stove only. thanks lpp2

Beautiful day in Cheshire sunny and relaxing on a smashing mooring when some idiot turns up and leaves his bloody engine running, as I write this rant its been running for 2.50 hours.

Good evening all Strange rumours on the Bridgewater, Limiting the use of your boat, only allowed to stay aboard 3 nights a week. Rumours of a nazi warden being aggressive towards boaters' and boating clubs, issuing threats to ban boaters from the canal, be interested to hear from any boaters who have any experience of this.

Good evening just replaced a sureflow water pump with a newer sureflow pump,and my led lights are flickering, has anyone got an idea why, it didn't happen with the old pump. thanks lpp2

I did the oil change as recommended above all went well, thanks for all the replies. lpp2

My water pump sounds like it has budgie inside it when it comes on, is it knackered, its a few years old so don't think a service kit would be available. Thanks lpp2
