That a bum deal you got there sorry to hear that I dont have a latest project - and probably wont get another boat. well.... maybe a salty one , if I find myself single not unless the system get's its act together Its a shame - cuz it could be nice !

I live off side in a house. I had a boat with 'EOG' moorings I hit hard times and couldnt afford to license AND pay mooring fees for my boat, so I had to sell it. I am narked that there are at least 10 boats within a 5 minute walk that 'live' or 'store' there boat tow path side and have got away with it for years. (many many more if I walk a bit further) some licenced, some not - although that makes little difference as there are no long term moorings around here yet they moor long term ! and dont pay ! I would have liked to have kept my boat until I could afford to use / licence it again, but I am not the type of person who will 'cheat' the system. Nor am I the type who would snitch. before I sold my boat, I spoke to the moorings officer and asked why I should pay and others dont ? 'Because my boat would be siezed and taken out of the water' was the answer. ! I dont see it happening much round here. I dont mind them not paying , as long as I dont have to either ! It is well known that patrol officers do little about the hard core evaders. A lot of BW staff admit openly that there is little they can do once they get to a certain point up the system. So it remains for the 'easy targets' to carry on paying - or now being fined if they are late paying ! ok ... little rant over .... carry on

Try frost for jelonite ? if not POR metal ready works reasonably well - same ingredient , again available from frost

I've been looking at table saws for my workshop in the garden. I only have single phase to the house. A lot of the good old equipment is 3 pahse and I have noticed the 240v to 3 phase inverters being suggested as the cure for 3 phaselessness Do these inverters work well ? they dont seem very expensive

till the cat hangs itself ! even the 'safe' collars can kill. we had two feral cats from the cat protection (chipped) to keep the rat and mouse population down. Ive not noticed any 'dead' things laying about - but not seen any mice or rats since we got them ether
